Although she seemed to be doing well with the relatively new drug 'Aricept' the headaches were too much and her dosage has been cut in half. For my mom, the AD is hereditary. She served as caregiver to her only sister who died over 10 years ago. Although I live over 1500 miles away, my support comes in the way of helping via phone and frequent visits...to be with my mom and relieve my sister. Your website offered me a trip to the future, one that is frightful, but based in loving reality. I'll be back to visit often! To Our Moms, Our Sisters, and To Us! |

It was sohard for her and her husband to watch him decline so quickly. I am very sorry for your loss but I am also glad you had time to spend with your mother at the end of her life here.
